His Birth - Bethlehem
Lesson Aim: The student will learn as the shepherds did, that God provided a Savior for all of us when Jesus was born in Bethlehem.
Bible Story: The Birth of Jesus, Luke 2:1-20.
Memory Verse: Luke 2:11, “For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord."
Life Application: Help the student understand that Jesus was born long ago to be the Savior of all, and He is the Savior of all who believe and trust in Him.
Lesson Aim: The student will learn how important it is to live for Christ after salvation.
Bible Story: The First Followers of Jesus, Matthew 4:18-22.
Memory Verse: Matthew 4:19, “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men."
Life Application: Help the student realize that after salvation he or she should be baptized and serve Christ in a true church while he or she seeks to lead others to Christ. If he wears the name “Christian” he should practice the teachings of Christ.
